Masatoshi Masanobu

Biography

1911
Born in Kochi Prefecture.
1933
Completes a postgraduate course at the Kochi Prefectural School of Education.
1948-49
Meets Yoshihara Jirō at the Kobe Citizens’ Art course and begins studying under him.
1954
Helps form the Gutai Art Association [member until dissolution in ’72].
1995
Dies at the age of 84 on August 22.
