Chihiro Yoshioka | mimesis
Chihiro Yoshioka | mimesis
Painter Chihiro Yoshioka creates ephemeral yet striking scenes, bringing together intangible, infinite time-space and questions relating to the act of “seeing” on the picture plane.
The artist’s first monograph will focus on the series mimesis, muqarnas, and sub rosa, along with plates of major works, newly-written texts by the artist, as well as an essay by Yasuyuki Nakai (Deputy Director, The National Museum of Art, Osaka).
A unique drawing (double-page spread), hand drawn by the artist, will be included in each of the 50 copies of the artist edition.
