About the Mural works

In March 2018, Satoshi Kawata stayed in Bangkok for 20 days to create two mural works at the newly built Benchasiri Park Shop of Asia Herb Association (Bangkok). With lively curved lines that are both delicate and graceful, Kawata uses the fresco technique (plaster and pigment) to paint an image that is a combination of traditional Thai ornamental motifs and arabesque designs.
